Project Aladdin’s President Leah Pisar, board member Cinzia Catalfamo, and Executive Director Abe Radkin met with Cardinal Pietro Parolin, Secretary of State of the Vatican, in his office at the Holy See on Wednesday, October 6, 2021. They discussed at length relations between the Muslim world and Europe, Islam in Europe, the fight against anti-Semitism, racism and violent extremism, as well as initiatives to promote social cohesion and peace in Europe. 

Cardinal Parolin congratulated Project Aladdin for the “necessary and effective work” carried out for more than ten years and expressed his support for the organization’s initiative to promote tolerance education in theological schools through knowing the religion of the Other.
