During a meeting with the Chairman and Undersecretary of the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism, in November 2021, Project Aladdin and DCT agreed to set up a working group to develop joint projects. 

His Excellency Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Abu Dhabi, Undersecretary HE Saood Abdulaziz Al Hosani, and Culture Executive Director Rita Aoun received Project Aladdin’s delegation at the Berklee College of Music in Abu Dhabi. After an illuminating brief by the DCT leaders about the major cultural and artistic projects underway in Abu Dhabi, a lively discussion followed as to how museums and cultural heritage centers could become a potent educational arm against hate and obscurantism. The representatives of the two institutions agreed to set up a working group to develop a joint project that would seek to create a coalition of cultural venues and centers, such as museums, conservatories, galleries, concert halls, movie studios… to educate young people against hatred, extremisms and violence.
